Find the Magic in Your Relationship

Reawaken The Magic in Your Relationship

Are you one of those people who are upset because your relationship lacks the romance and spark it once had?

Well if you are, you’re not alone. Living with the same person for a long while can make people very comfortable, resulting in the loss of the magic that made your relationship special when you two first got together.

What you need are some excitingly creative simply fun ideas to help you and your partner reignite that magic:

stick figure drawing holding hands - spicy up your relationship1. Send a gift to their job – And I don’t mean just any gift and not something that you buy from the store either. Here’s what you do: Get yourself some construction paper, choose whatever color you like. Maybe you have a special reason for picking that color – it’s your partner’s favorite color or the color that you had in your wedding, whatever.

Than grab some crayons and draw a nice bright picture and don’t start thinking hey I can’t draw, that’s the whole point of this, the picture should look like a child drew it. You can put a big yellow sun with a smiley face and two stick figures holding hands.

You can also add some flowers and birds if you like maybe even a tree and any pets you guys might have – use your imagination. Now what you want to do is put labels with your partner and your names pointing to the two stick figures. Now write ‘I Love You’ inside a great big – ole red heart.

Next you’re going to get a large really nice formal looking envelope and put your drawing inside and type up a formal address label addressed to your partner’s place of work, such as: “For the immediate and urgent attention of: Rebecca Jones, Level 20, Collins & Smith Solicitors, New York.” Drop this in the mail so that your partner receives it in the middle of a busy day. You can believe it will put a smile on their face and the face of their co-workers who’ll think you’re just the coolest person. :)

2. Have fun like kids again – Take a walk to the park and give your partner a push on the swings, a ride on the merry-go-round or hop on the see saw. Have fun and laugh like you did when you were a kid.

3. Have a ball with some water guns – One day when it’s really hot hand your partner a one of those small gift bags with some of that colored tissue and two really cool water pistols inside.

Or if you’re so inclined you can get one of those really big gift bags and put in some of those super soakers :) Take them to the park or beach and have a ball.

4. A very special massage – This is one of my favorites:

  • Get a medium sided decorated box, you can purchase a decorated one or decorate it yourself
  • Get a sheet of colored tissue paper
  • Some massage oil
  • A nice jazzy, r&b or soft music playing CD
  • Some smooth melted chocolate
  • Some sweet strawberries, peaches, seedless grapes or fruit of your choice
  • A blank card

Line the box with the tissue paper and put the things you purchased in the box. Obviously you want to put the fruit in some containers because they would really mess up everything in the box including the box if you don’t :)

Now on the card you want to put something like this: “You have been given the gift of one very special massage, for a really great masseur call: Put Your Phone Number Here

5. Bring back childhood memories – Contact your partner’s family and ask if there was anything she always wanted when she was a little girl. For example if she always wanted a porcelain doll, buy one for her birthday. She will not only appreciate the gift, but also the fact that you were thoughtful enough to find out what she always wanted. You can do this for your man too.

6. Shoot the Moon – Well not actually but you can shoot the breeze with your partner as you sit or lay under a star filled moon lit night. And don’t forget to bring a blanket if it’s a little chilly so you both can snuggle up under it.

This would be a really nice surprise for your partner if you had it all set up and you two walked up on it as you were strolling on the beach.

You could have some wine and glassed already there or you could have carried it in a backpack.

8. Go outside in your yard and have a picnic – Put down a picnic blanket and pull out the picnic basket and have a nice leisure time together eating some snacks, chocolates, fruit and champagne. If it’s later in the day you can lay on the blanket together and gaze up at the stars.

9. Let your partner know how much you appreciate them – Leave a long-stem rose where your partner will find it, with a note on it saying: “Thank you for coming into my life.”

Get-Your-Ex-Girlfriend-Back10. Spice up your lovemaking – Probably the most profound way to rekindle the romance in your relationship is to spice up your lovemaking.

Try some of these:

  • Surprise your partner with a little gift after you make love
  • Try a new position
  • If you haven’t tried them all, try a new hole – yes that’s exactly what I mean :)
  • Learn to give your partner a sensual massage before or after lovemaking
  • Spend some time staring into each other’s eyes and caressing one another’s bare skin before, during and after lovemaking.

So many people take too lightly the affect passionate and intimate lovemaking has on a relationship. If you spice it up, chances are you and your partner will naturally do romantic things for each other.

Why? Because passionate lovemaking connects two people in a meaningful and unexplainable way that nothing else can.
